I've come over all peculiar and written another Guide Entry.
It's a bit of a strange one, but sometimes I think things have just got to be explained. After all, who knows who may be reading the Guide?
It's about knives.

I'm off to the USA
Posted Feb 18, 2000
Tomorrow I'm flying off to Seattle to do some business for a few days. Then I've got about two and a half weeks holiday. I'm not sure what I'll be doing or where I'll be going, except that I'll be flying back from San Francisco.
I'm just about to start packing, so I'd better get going.
I'll be logging-on when I can, so see you all in the good old US of States, land of the free local telephone calls.
See ya lader!

An apology, a question and a proverb..
Posted Jan 28, 2000
I've tried working and trying to keep track of forums at the same time. It doesn't work. So, rather than try to apply one hemisphere of my brain to my work and the other to forums, I'm trying to do one thing at a time, and do it well.
Actually, I wonder what a left-hemisphere forum posting would look like. And a right-hemisphere one? Perhaps any psychoneurophysiologists reading would be able to tell me. I have feeling they would probably be typed one handed, though.
Anyway, please be patient. I read, I ponder, I cogitate, I am struck by the miraculous sword of inspiration, I respond. Sometimes this all occurs in nanoseconds (give or take), sometimes in millennia (give or take). Bear with me, OK? Thanks.
I leave you with a Buddhist proverb which should be remembered when eating donuts on the beach: "A moment on the lips, one hundred and eight lifetimes on the hips."
From Joolsee's Dictionary of Dodgy Quotations (Millennium Edition).

Write an Entry
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
