Longest Poster List!
Posted Feb 11, 2002
In the words of Homer, "Woo-hoo!"
For the first time ever, I'm on the Longest Postings list! (Really, the first time ever I've been on the Statistics page at all, aside from the Recently Updated Postings list). Also, there's sixty-seven other researchers online, so there's plenty of competition for the position.

Well, this is just great. I haven't even used any smilies yet! This is indeed an achievement worthy of a celebration!
Okay. Now who's figured out that I'm just rambling to try to up my posting length in this entry? Let's see if it works...

In an effort to be more realistic . . .
Posted Nov 21, 2001
Okay. First off, I am going to right here break my trend of posting along the lines of "Back again...gonna go update stuff now...watch for updates real soon!" Something always happens (often academics-related) to sidetrack me from h2g2. (This, I'm aware, happens in reverse to many people--h2g2 sidetracking one from other [often academics-related] concerns.)
In an effort to be more realistic, expect updates by the year 2002. Now, don't panic ()--keep in mind this is less than a month and a half away. I may very well get around to major updates before then; however, as I stated eariler, I'm breaking that trend of promising updates while knowing that I'll likely get sidetracked into doing something else.
Logically, a break from college work means more opportunities for h2g2 participation. I have my winter break coming up in mid-December. For about the first two weeks, I'll be spending time with family (my dad in Aberdeen, Washington and my mom in Longview, Washington) and likely won't have the access I'll need for major participation. This puts me into late December/early January for major updates (hence the year 2002 becomes a good time period to expect updates).
Now, I'm off to participate in another activity that takes up a sizable portion of my time.
See you in 2002! (likely sooner, but nothing I'm willing to set in stone [or goo] )

Well, I've got a computer and extended access to h2g2. Look for some updates to my page over the next few days (and the next few hours), as I realize the extent to which I'm now out of touch. Your patience is very much appreciated!

Just a quick note to prove I'm still around. My lack of a conveniently located computer has greatly restricted my access to h2g2, so I don't have as much time as I'd like to participate and greet people. I should be getting my own computer soon, so expect me to become more active in the none-too-distant future. Until then, I'll try to check in for any messages.
Peace.

Well, I haven't been able to be on h2g2 as much as I'd like to lately. Despite graduating from high school, I've spent the last month or so attending the local community college. So, while all my former classmates are enjoying their summer before college, I'm stuck with studying. Anyways, final college exams will be done in a couple of weeks, so I should have more time to spend here--that is, until I move away to The Evergreen State College in mid-September. I'll just deal with that when it gets here. I hope to be able to post journal entries on more of a semi-regular basis, so we'll see if that really happens.
