I'm in a postponing mood again
Posted Jun 9, 2002
Will be back more often Sunday. Currently taking a break from my work (somehow managed to catch H2IQ early - quite odd). Becoming mildly irritated with Keynes's "The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money." When the intro to the book begins with "This book is chiefly addressed to my fellow economists", the former US Labour Secretary refers to the book as "muddled" and sometimes "incomprehensible", your professor (who has a PhD in economics) says "I didn't understand it that well until graduate school", and you're only a first-year liberal arts student, red flags should start to go up indicating you're in it quite deep. Hence, the perpetual postponements. Here I go again.

Return postponed
Posted Jun 8, 2002
Will be back late Saturday 8 June. My school work is taking more time than expected. I expect to be done soon. Continuing to type short sentences. Want journal entry to have some length. Can't continue much longer. Done now.

Away for the long weekend
Posted Jun 3, 2002
I probably won't be around much until Wednesday, 5 June (at the earliest). College course is winding up, and I've got a lot of work to do before then. There's a ten-page paper that needs to be written and a ten minute speech to be prepared before next Tuesday (the topic for both is '[John Maynard] Keynesian economic theory and modern global implications' in case anyone out there was wondering). Once I finish that up, I'll be almost done with academic work until September.
I'll be moving back to Longview from college in a couple of weeks, where I'll have a good deal more time to spend on recreational activities like h2g2.

Remodeling
Posted Apr 13, 2002
Seeing as how my user space has been in the same format for the past year, more or less, I've decided its time for a revamp (including support for 360 and Sense of Place). Hopefully, that'll happen soon. It might not, but there's always hope.

Still Around
Posted Mar 19, 2002
Well, I've been around h2g2 on-and-off again over the past three months or so. My academic pursuits have been more taxing than I expected , and so I haven't been around as much as I'd hoped. The good news is that this is the last week of my academic quarter and, after tomorrow, I'll be free once more.
Spring vacation is next week, so I expect to have more time to do things that I enjoy (like h2g2). After that, I expect my future academic studies will permit me time to participate here.
