the vampires lair

there is a cafe on parramatta rd in annandale in sydney (i'm aware of the fact that most people won't know where that is). my dad calls it the vampire's lair. it has been there forever and the man who runs it must be 103 by now, because he looked identical in something like 1986 when my dad went there with his then girlfriend.
anyway, so it's very dark and no ones ever in there and one of the front windows has been broken for maybe 5 years.
apparently when you go in, the man shuffles out and the lights flicker on slowly and you ask for what you want &c. so a few of my friends and i are going to go there next week and it's going to be really fun.
someone says his milkshakes are good. he's had long enough to practice.

mamma mia!

i have now seen mamma mia the musical 4 times and it remains as good as ever! has it come out elsewhere in the world? i'm not a total abba freak. i saw it twice as the stage play when i was an abba freak and i've seen the movie twice. once because having been an abba freak i couldn't not see it. twice because my best friend was going to see it by herself and that's sad, to go to a movie by oneself. but it's still great.

back to school

i'm back at school again. the creepy thing is that i feel like i've been back for quite literally months when in actuality i've been back for two days. scary that.

yay! i love having days off school. they're so much fun. particularly if they're mental health days and you've got a personal development day at school so you're not missing anything you have to catch up on. anyway. yay! day off school.
