the vampires lair

there is a cafe on parramatta rd in annandale in sydney (i'm aware of the fact that most people won't know where that is). my dad calls it the vampire's lair. it has been there forever and the man who runs it must be 103 by now, because he looked identical in something like 1986 when my dad went there with his then girlfriend.
anyway, so it's very dark and no ones ever in there and one of the front windows has been broken for maybe 5 years.
apparently when you go in, the man shuffles out and the lights flicker on slowly and you ask for what you want &c. so a few of my friends and i are going to go there next week and it's going to be really fun.
someone says his milkshakes are good. he's had long enough to practice.
