I prepared a reply to this, but it got lost somewhere.
I was going to say you provide an introduction to what the Guide Editors actually do, and that we're only responsible for Edited Guide-related stuff, not any of the moderation or community issues. This is different from the BBC setup where the BBC Eds were the ultimate authority on everything.

Can you all have a check and see what you think now? I took out the last bit about how to enrol with Noesis, as it was well past its sell by date.
I am wondering too, about leaving the congratulations to minorvogonpoet, for achieving the First Entry status? Maybe this is old news now?
I am open to suggestions as to how best to use this space as a link to contacting us, and also to explain what we actually do.

Maybe we could just put in a note of encouragement to er, write about the Olympics?
