It's because you don't post with a northern accent I think! However, I expected it. Good to meet you there. smiley - smiley

But I'd discussed where I was from with you before I suppose.
There is a posting of mine in a northern accent somewhere in one of the book nook forums (Various worden about dialecten I think)

Phil it was the northern accent. I handn't spoken an awful lot with you and kind of made the assumtion that you would have a home counties accent, which is what I'm used to. It's an accent I confer on everyone until I find out where they come from. smiley - smiley

Fair enough then smiley - smiley
I know I talk funny as some people would put it and I can quite happily play it up. I certainly don't want to lose the accent though, that'd be terrible.

Yes, except I walked a little further than Paddington. I ended up going to Edgeware Road tube station and getting a tube instead of trying to backtrack and find where I was supposed to be going smiley - smiley

I had about 5 minutes to spare before the train left when I finally made it onto the platform.smiley - smiley

Good thing I asked someone though, otherwise I would have kept walking and probably ended up in Euston before realising I was going the wrong way. I really need a map for the next time. smiley - smiley

But at least you had a towel!
Was I the person who stayed for the least time?

DE - who remembered a towel
Phil - with the most northern accent
Shazz, TM and Kheldar - travelled the furthest
Jim Lynn - signed in as 42

any more?

Don't know about Shazz TM and Kheldar travelling furthest, DD came from Belfast and Dr. E Vibenstein from Edinburgh. I'm not sure which are furthest away from London but I suspect Holland is a tad closer.

Joanna - who blew bubbles
Mark Moxon - brought his own form of money
