Actually, I just like to compensate for you people making me feel young and insignificant by making y'all feel old, and... well whatever goes with old.

I came, I saw, I posted.

Therein lies the problem. Older people are not 'you people', we are all individuals and as different from one another as you are different from your friends. The only fact you have latched onto about me is that I am 'old' in your eyes and therefore not an interesting person.

Why do you feel young and insignificant, Loreth? On the internet we are all equal, you are just as important as anyone else - but there again - so am I.

Whoops... it was really just a joke... But if we must be serious - I didn't imply that you were uninteresting, or not unique. I think you read that in.

Also be aware, as I have stated ont the email list, that old is generally five years older than me.

Around here, with all the discussion of such things as 'work' and other such abstract concepts, I often feel like there is a significant portion of life which I have yet to experience or understand. Which makes sense, but it's still mildly unnerving.

If 'old' is generally five years older than you, then that makes me positively ancient rather than just old. Don't ever think that the passing years will make you feel any different. I am still the same fifteen-year-old I was, I just cope better because I am beginning to see how things work. But I don't think I will ever have all the answers, life keeps throwing surprises at me.

If life stopped throwing surprises at me I'd be awfully bored...

My wish for you is that all your surprises will be pleasant ones.
