it's not stopped since xmas we here are copping some of it co's we're in the middle(ish)as it winds up/round/over the Pennines

Ah, I guess that makes sense - I don't know anything about UK weather patterns.

The Pennines keeps a lot of bad weather off us here, but these storm winds are (forget the pun) over the top back down to mr nino again

It's actually been pretty good here.

according to what I've read, El Nino seems to have a "bad year" on a cycle ? not sure on time scale though, but this year seems it's the baddie one

I tend to look most of life's events in this way = whenever there's an imbalance in something, mother nature will address the situation and cause events to bring the problem back in line
