not much gets my goat as they sayeven though! as a Yorkshireman, we moan a lot BUT! I was always taught that manners don't cost anything

SO my moan and especially of today's populationWHY are there only a few who have manners ????

I love it when I hear a small kid use them or a young mother say to her kid - say thank you to:-
as that tells me please and thank you aren't dead

Most people in the US are pretty good about that. What gets my nanny are the people who work in stores and hand you your receipt or return your credit card, but refuse to turn to look at you.

It's an urban habit, and it drives me crazy.
