tesco value honey 99p, 1 jar per litre
yeast, i started with bread yeast, came in at 8%ABV
about a £1 for half a dozen sachets
stuff needed come from the kitchen, saucepan, sieve, container....glass or tupperware or a jug!!!

into a sauce pan put 1 jar of honey and make up to 1litre with water, repeat till you get the ammount you want
boil the 
out of it and sieve off the foam
cover and allow to cool to about body temp.
sprinkle on yeast, about a tea spoon, leave for 1/4 hour then stir in
pour into a container and cover (pyrex glass oven bowl with lid) is perfect
put it aside for a fortnight
pour off the clear golden liquid, leave the sediment
stick it in a jug and cover, leave it for a week
