Airfix are still popular, I bought Stu a Meccano Spitfire for his birthday a few years back and he loved it, he's got the whole set now

I used to make the model aeroplanes (apart from tanks/ships etc)
But I'd hang the planes on mam's washing-line and shoot at them with my air rifle, from my bedroom window

I also had some telescopic sights on my 22. air rifleand I'd shoot flies that landed on our Golden Labrador's dog bones we'd buy for him

PS: hootoo was down for a day ?

I think they're having server issues, I had trouble signing in

Alas! It would take QUITE a few quid to "pay/have" some company etc to rewrite hootoo's "set up" to bring it back to pre bbc days..

After the beeb ripped the guts out of it

I don't know about "ignored" but I reckon there's lots of complications etc that could be involved ?

So I left it alone..

I guess it depends on the small print

I also think that there's one hell of a "financial/administrator etc" involved type thing as well ? that makes it bloody hard compared to what you see on tv about certain cloud funding stuff ?

In cost-cutting, the beeb was just going to "delete" hootoo
Some "researchers" took it onincluding it's originator
but alas! There's never been any financial backing to aid them

This is a problem

I don't mean this in anyway daft etc (me)

BUT! I've made friends(and some! Very close) Through Hootoo

Compared to major "social media sites" Hootoo is in a lower division
HAD! I the money"We'd" be moving up the league table for sure

It's still very niche though, yes it's social media but a bit limited compared to Facebook
