Boy! Don't "time" kick you in the ribs

If I was "intelligent" I'd be at what my age is now

BUT! As I've no intention of EVER growing up and being "intelligent"
I've no need to worry!

Had a weekend for myself binge watched telly and avoided all the things I'd promised to do for other people

Everyone needs some time now and again just for themselves
it allows your mind to unwindand let the "world" go it's own way for a short while

And that is exactly what I needed

In the early 1970's, I had a place (an overpass on the A1 motorway) where I could park up and be alone
Expansion of housing and roads made that disappear years ago
BUT I sort of learnt after watching many episodes of Star Trek "original" with Spock
I could go into my own "space"
It came in handyafter I got with exand I can still go there nowthat's why nothing ever bugs me

That's how Lil arrived all the way from Ellesmere Port, to visit me
met via hootoo 2008 and been close family friends sinceonly corona has kept them from calling as such

Know that feeling, our residents are looking forward to visits again

I've always wanted to be THAT richThat I could have a sign on my gate as such = visits by appointment only

yah know! great big walls and electrified stuff etc

I don't think that would appeal to me, Nice house facing the sea

I've always wished to have a house/bungalow in a village, about 5 mile inland from our Yorkshire coastjust off the usual "tourist" roadways, so nice and quietwith maybe a couple of village pubs
But giving a small ride away from the "seafront"

Alas! another dream that fitted in pipes

Sounds lovely

Yep! A 2 to 3 bedroom bungalow with a decent garden area and across a courtyard, an annex of 2 bedrooms/living room/kitchen/bathroom etc for family/friends to visit and holiday in that part of Yorkshire

All planned for years in't headbut wallet wouldn't back it up

once saw on that "move to the country" type program ?
A place that fitted everything I wanted did I swear ? Bloody right I did

Those programmes are popular at work

The only improvement to MY "new home" would be to have a sauna in it or built a few feet away
