One place that I was stationed at when I was in the RAF was at a place called West Drayton, Gary.
The NAAFIs all used the same type of security shutter: Trellised....
Believe it or not, it was the OFFICERS who found a way around it.....
One morning, after the staff came in, they found four snoring officers, and heard a 'bubbling' noise. On investigation, they found a rubber tube leading to the beer font, and a piece of cane on the floor.
The floor was also swimming in beer.
They had been 'Helping Themselves' after the bar had closed!!!!
Needless to say, all four officers were 'reduced to the ranks'
