The Black Adder ! *evil laugh*
The Black Adder lives again!!! Through the chronicles of time there has always been a Black Adder!!
The first first recorded Blackadder was named Edmun, a Druid who spilled over from Continental Europe when the land bridge was still attatched. It is said that he was an overseer on the major construction of that day, namely Stone Henge. He hated the job, and an inscribe fragment of early Graffiti still remains on the granite... "five-hundred ton pieces of granite hauled from wet wales are simply the wrong matierial to construct a child-friendly slide & swing combo!". He bumbled along in seriously bad tights and a hair-cut to die for!!!(his barber did)
The trail goes cold untill early Tudor 1509, times when he re-appears and rises to fame as Cardinal Blackadder Keeper of the Privy Rolls, leaving the King, Henry VIII to write 'Greensleeves' and tuck into a large bowl of syphilis. He immediately became deranged, fat and covered in pustules (the king not Blackadder).
It is said the king died of Lamborghinis, but this is wrong. In fact, he was murdered by Cardinal Blackadder, who strangled him with an eel after being caught in the act with a couple of peerages from the bureau!!
Once again the dynasty is in exile in france, but manages to creep back in through the back door when Bloody Mary Queen of Scots (a frightful, narrow minded, obstinate hag with a mouth like a bottom) finaly dies.
Here, Lord Edmund Blackadder (barstard great-great-grandson of the repulsive original) wins favour with her sister Queen Elizabeth I the Virgin Train, and her podgy nurse imaginatively called Nursie. We must not forget Lord Melchett, Lord Percy and of course his trusted servent Baldrick who looks like what he is, a dungball in a dress......
