Language, Water, Nappies and the Law
If you've got this far, you may be wondering what the link is between the above. If you're not, please leave this entry now. I started in nappies both in life (as with many people) and on h2g2 (as with perhaps fewer). As the heading of the page in question referred to diapers this got me to thinking about the differences between American and British English (Aussies, Canadians and others please feel free to butt in at this point). See below for journal entry.
As far as water goes, see the discussion on environmental effects on diapers. Views welcomed.
The law? Well, that's what I do when not changing nappies. I will try to avoid the obvious excremental analogies. I refer to an amusing article on lawyers (you can link through my conversational comment below).
I hope something is of interest. If it isn't, here's a thought to console you: all the time I've been typing this I haven't been practising law.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
