Why do people always throw takeovers while the person they are taking over from is in the room and watching them?
As to me abandoning the place I think that is slightly unfair as every time I started a mission you got one or two people posting and then they'd dissapear. So you're taking over this place as you abandoned it, not 'cos I did. Now, if you all promise to be good little wielding s and actually see a mission through I'll be happy to start one.
Also Anthea shouldn't you worry about the assassins and their lack of active missions before trying to take over here?

Sken dont you dare step on my toes at the assassins!

I have as far as i know always been an active spy when the society has been running and i do not think your comment was appreciated.

*shrugs* Shes got a point. Ive never known a more active goon! plus you havent been around at the assassins even though we have been keeping threads going...
Why dont we just start a mission and stop arguing and just let it be known that people wanted something to do. Im sure you two dont want to argue about this really, youd rather have fun...erm...pouring cream down evil peoples throats.

Kham i know you have, and I did start a plot but Sken and a few others who took key parts in it let it fall to the ground!

Calm down guys. Dont be beastly to each other. If sken runs something new then okay. admittedly its been the start of a new year at school and everything so I can understand why people may have been a bit dead. But Ill hang around here looking strict just incase

right then.
The way i see it this place has fallen apart for numerous reasons and I'm gonna try and rectify them. Firstly the missions end up going no-where for two main reasons; my only being online at certain points in a day and too much randomness etc
So to get round this I'm gonna have to appoint some people to run the NPCs and they're going to have to do it SERIOUSLY *can imagine the gulps*. For those of you who have taken part there imagine the High Council at the Magicians Guild. Also weapons and gadgets are going to have some limits, the spies will be advanced tech wise, but that doesn't mean people will be able to randomly produce there portable mini nuke. I think it might be worth having a list of equipment and you can chose say 3-4 things from it e.g. a rifle, a pistol and something else like a stealth suit.
Also we're gonna have to try and make this place more social so new members stick around. I think this place to some degree and the assassins and magicians guild to a larger degree suffered as there was too much; too many pages with too many convos. So we'll start a couple of new social threads, and let people discuss stuff there. Firstly that'll let new members get to know us and encourage them to stick around, secondly it'll mean that the randomness occurs there, making the missions more sensible (they don't have to be totally serious, but currently they were sort of all over the place).
Anyone got any other suggestions, comments etc?

I think thats a good idea. I agree that the way its been going theres been too much social stuck in the middle of plot and thats detracted from what we're actually doing. we possibly need to have a recount of who's actually available to be active as I dont think the lists are up to date, and having a clear idea would make it easier to run missions.
Ill be happy to help run NPC as I can be on here at different times of day, stay for a large chunk, or just drop in every now and then to monitor.
I think the limitations on weaponry make sense because then it should force people to work together more and not...for example...pull an escalator out of their pocket.

the lists haven't been up to date in a long long time! I think if I listed all the active members there would be 6 tops!
