h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi DrMatt,
I don't consider i gave either you or Annie a 'roasting', certainly I have asked for clarity and consistency. when one reviewer says something should be in capitals and another says no, then someone says capitals and italics, then brackets are inserted and then not,all this happens within the first week, then nothing for 3 weeks and lo and behold, we start going over the same ground again.I had carried out all recommended changes up to this point, to be told that there are even more on items already covered I found disheartening to say the least.
Frankly it's 30 years since I studied written english but I was taught proper names were capitalised, Angina, Mycardial Infarction are, to me, proper names.I have only ever written letters before h2g2. I have apologised for being abrupt in my responses but under the circumstances not entirely surprising.
I thank you again for your help and the same applies to Annie and everyone else who commented and encouraged.

I'd imagine the Sub-editor will find DrMatt's & Annie's lists of corrections useful, so they've not gone to waste.
