...numerous technological inconsistancies abound on your page. I suggest that you think mo... no, scratch that. I suggest that you think. It would benefit you.
Firstly, an "EMP field" does not generate a "pink glow".
Secondly, nanoprobes, by nature of their being "nano" are very very small. The prefix "nano" is the quantifier below "micro", and refers to 10^(-9) metres. As such, a nanoprobe - being a size of nanometers - is sufficiently small that the number of photons of light which reflect off it are miniscule. This not only has the impact upon humans that nanoprobes are invisible, but also means that, were they to be on a coffee table, you'd have as much chance of seeing them as you would of seeing a bacillus. Therefore, to say that you have a coffee table with several deactivated nanoprobes on it makes about as much sense as I would make were I to say that I always take my car with me when I go swimming, because I find that it keeps the chlorine out of my hair.
This really illustrates the amount to which you subject your ideas to intellectual scrutiny (ie. none) before airing them, and is completely demonstrative of the haphazard, thoughtless, morose manner in which you comport yourself throughout roleplaying threads. Kindly commit your actions to some thought before you perpetrate them, and cast some thought to the nuances of social nicety before offending people with your blanket statements of egotistical power.

Njan, with no offense meant, off. The entire purpose of roleplaying is to escape the ordinary, rigidly intellectual world we live in. Many things I do are impossible, along with everybody else. Take SM’s cupboard… So let me have my fun and just leave me alone… I’ll think at school.
Even further, the only way currently to generate an EMP is to set off a nuclear weapon in the upper atmosphere. Who says that an EMP field generator in 2150 wont give off a pink glow?
You’re right about the nanoprobes, though…

You might want to leave…

There is no implicit purpose of roleplaying. If that's what you use it for, fine, but when interacting with other people, you have to do so in accordance with a reasonable structure of social decency, and if you don't, be prepared to reap the consequences.
Put simply, p**s people off, and they'll p**s you off. However escapist you want to be, if you escape to more people, you still have to treat them like people, and if you throw toys at them, they'll throw back.
What's more, in roleplaying in a capacity which is - by your admissal - for you, directly linked to the "real world", any technology which is derived from it must abide by the rules of the world. What's more, in order to roleplay you must have common standards of the way in which the virtual world with which you play, because otherwise interaction is impossiblke. Just as different sorts of computer have protocols to codify and regulate common interaction, the virtual roleplaying world is the protocol of the roleplayer.
What's more, that is not the only way to generate an EMP, even now, by the very nature of the way in which an EMP works. I may not specialise in electromagnetic field generation, but I am - still - both a trained physicist and philosopher, and as such, I need to know the way in which the world works for both. By the nature of the way in which an EMP exists, the energy which it gives out on every frequency is random, and pink is not random (pink is a particular slice out of the frequencies of visible light). Moreover, if you DID have an EMP generator, it'd not only blind anyone who looked at it, but also prevent any and all incoming and outgoing signals.
Also, the nature of an "EMP field" is a misnomer. EMP stands for Electro-Magnetic PULSE, and a pulse, by nature, has none of the continuity of a field.
I would suggest that you read some basic physics textbooks and review your standards for interaction with other people.

the only thing I wasgoing to say is how does the holo projector and coffee vendor work if the EMP thingy's there?

Njan, I understand the P of EMP. Perhaps it would be better saying that it's an Electro-magnetic emissions field? It's just easier to type.
If you have any purpose other than spoiling my fun, stay. Otherwise, please get out.
SM, the field I'm talking about is in a small, narrow band around the station. Thereby the coffeemaker inside still works...
