it was created out in china town in san francisco..... along with other dishes that are now considered "chinese" food.

Some bloke in England asked for sauce on his chicken in a Indian restaurant because it was too dry and hence invented chicken tikka masala which is now considered an indian food.

The fortune cookies I've had are not cookies reallly, they're wrapped up pastry with a papery taste.

how accurate are the fortunes.. they seem so cryptic more so than broad horoscopes............

Nah. A certain friend of mine (HLPG) kind of got a BOYFRIEND on July 13th and I saw a horoscope for 1999 from an old magazine recently which said that would be her best day in the year. I mean, that's a 1 in 365 chance.

i want a best day of my year...

a friend of mine told me that our horoscope said aug 11 was the day of possible romance with rockers.... a day i happen to be going to a concert.. hrmmmmmmmm... and the last time i went to a concert there i accomplished getting backstage n junk...

how did you do that?! the best i accomplished at my last concert was be three or four metres away from H and scream loud enough to get him to wave at me (that was 8 months ago &i'm still chuffed).

connections are odd.
for example, i got the chance to go to a pearl jam concert for free and go backstage, but i was more interested in meeting a friend backstage.......


backstage isn't as exciting as it is hyped-up to be, tho.... i've been offered money for passes- but even if you have the sticker/pass doesn't mean you can get back..... only if you're on the list....
