This is the first in the series of 'Void Fruitcake' stories. As more will be written they will be added. Inspired by the Hitchhiker's (as we all would guess).
Void Fruitcake deals with the second generation Universe or Deuciverse. A whole new world left to explore, and sorry, no Heart of Gold here hehe

I haven't had time to read this yet, but I'm bookmarking this because it looks like my kind of humour.

I like the format, it seems to be of Douglas Adams's style.
Though, and please don't take this as a criticism, but it is very complex. There is a lot of information to take in within a short space of time, and to be honest I'm still not 100% sure what the Deuciverse (sp?) actually is. Its the second universe, but it seems to have strong connections with music.
I did start getting in to it during part 4 or 5 though. They need to go back in time to get this part/power source they need, but end up going even further back in time to a point they didn't want to get to. I'm still not sure where the story is going though, and what their mission is
I really had to read it a couple of times, to try and take it in. But maybe thats just me
Anyway, have you any plans to write more parts?

lol yes, yo're right i read it after quite a long time, and the plot almost goes everywhere Had a bit of a struggle myself trying to sort out what was going on. And here's a fact: In the middle episodes, I keep repeating that they metalheads were looking for the MAD, and then later they realize it was the Nutron Core they really were after. Now the funny thing is, this little mixus really happened and wasn't meant to be a part of the story - but i thought it'd make an interesting read, so I went through with it.
And about music, I felt sci-fi needed more rythm, and being a metalhead myself thought it would add more element ; It's a bit confusing, the references about the Mountain Dew advertisement (and a cheetah being chased by a guy in a bicycle)
lol and thanks It's comments like yours that make me want to write more and I promise more episodes in December (because I'll have vacations then)
