My very first post - a (small) bit of SF: computers and time travel. Hmmm...

Welcome to h2g2 GreyMouser (and friend of Flame).
That was an enjoyable piece of reading. Refreshingly spare and to the point for SF, and the dialogue's natural too.
Thank you for the read .

Thank you for clearing up the Nostradamus mystery, GreyMouser.
It's a good read. I like the fact that it's purely a conversation. It gives the appropriate sense of mystery. And I have always wondered how some of the prominent historical figures would have fared, armed with modern knowledge.
Well done!

Thanks Xantief. Yes, I had wanted to see if I could make a purely conversational story work.
Cheers

Likeage much. My stories tend to decend intopure conversation, but they don't work half as well as your does!

Nice. Light, amusing and not overly drawn out.
Good one.

Thanks for all your comments - I may be inclined to put up a longer story in a few days...

Hello again GreyMouser. More !
I think it's a first in nearly three years to have had two of these messages to post to the same researcher in one month. Congratultions also on two distinctly different pieces. We do look for variety of content in the UnderGuide, and for variety from individual authors.
I won't repeat the Gem Polisher bit from the message to the 'Underneath the Arches' thread.
Thanks again for contributing here . Neat idea, neatly done. I hope the $100 laptops materialise.
Key: Complain about this post
