Welcome to h2g2, my lord Duke.
I really like this! I dont know how much you know about how the Guide works. Entries for the Edited Guide are put into Peer Review, and eventually picked, subedited, and end up with a day of glory on the front page. But entries like this, which are essentially fiction, are not suitable for the Edited Guide and may not get the attention they deserve.
The Post (which is linked from the Front Page) may well like this, and it would certainly be worth dropping by there and asking them if they would like to run it.
There are a couple of other groups of researchers who are striving to put put together places where alternative pieces can be seen and read and get the attention they deserve. One is CAC, and they can be found here: U187783.
A second group are working on a parallel Underguide. This is still in its earliest days, barely a twinkle in the collective eyes of a dozen or so of us, and here is a good place to start if you want to know more about us: A943670. Please join in the discussions you find there - we need to get fresh air into them, or we can suffocate in each others exhaust fumes.
Anyway - I am trying to work out in my own mind what would make a good Underguide entry by asking other Underguiders what they think about the ones that I like. I think this would. What do other people think?
Ben

Dear Lady,
I throw myself upon the kindness of strangers. My Journal will tell all.
I fear that I shall shortly be "framed like a kipper". Can you help ?
Yours in trepidation,
P.

You are very kind. Given the recent unfortunate events at Gedditon, I have had very little time to call upon my neighbours here at h2g2, but hope that now I have bail, I shall not be such a stranger.
If it is not too much of an imposition, your support in my current legal contretemps would be most welcome. Please see my "space" for more details.
I remain
Yours Faithfully

That is most excellent: perhaps you would like this to go towards the UnderGuide?

Dear FWT,
I welcome any help in my present discomfiture. Do with me what you will.
I should point out however, that I remain under the yolk of several (impertinently long-standing) injunctions, which prevent my being within 100 yards of any Guides. Or indeed Scouts. Whilst Ringstead (LLB and Notary Public) has advised me that these injunctions apply only to members of the Girl Guide's Association, and the Boyscout's League, I am tremulous.
If there be no ties between Guides/Scouts here, and those noble childrens' organisations I have mentioned, then I would be more than gratified to have your assistance.
I remain
Your Faithful Servant
P.

Congratulations! Your piece has been picked from the Alternative Writing Workshop (AWW) by our miners and has been accepted by the editors for inclusion in the H2G2 UnderGuide! It will be featured on H2G2's front page in due course and then be displayed on the shelves of the UnderGuide.
