Yeah, I'm guilty of most of these things. Certainly not treasuring shaving scum though I'm not a wild animal!
(and don't knock personal time in the spare room. Half of h2g2's population would go missing overnight if that were taken away )
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent! I began reading with the sceptical, mildly aloof air of 'one who has seen one of these before'. I was soon realising my mistake.
I anticipated a few wry smiles. You, however, succeeded in making me laugh outloud!
I look forward to seeing this wry wit at work on other subjects? Perhaps, you could even adapt this article into somesort of short story? A narration of partner-partner interaction when the man gets home? I think it might be good.
Otherwise, there is, i think, a typo in the bedroom section, near the end of paragraph two; " to be wedged down the man’s the man’s throat/tonsils;" There is a repeat of "the man's".
Yours,
Discus.

You can get away with stuff like this this when you discuss men...I was trying to imagine a similar guide for women. What a challenge!

Typoo changed!
Thanks very much for your comments Glad you liked it!
To be honest, this has been sitting on my hard drive for over a year, and I only thought it might be ok for AWW when Jodan issued his call to arms yesterday. If this gets a good reception, I could probably come up with some other stuff, but time is at a bit of a premium lately. I'll give it some thought.
Thanks again for the good initial response

Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry! Posted Nov 23, 2005
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this - especially as I've got married and moved in with my bloke this year . It's brilliantly written, often very true (I know my husband wants a shed and workshops) and genuinely funny.
One minor thing - you could mention that like the bathroom fairy, there is a washing and ironing fairy, too .
Overall though, this is great

Not just entertaining, it's kind of warming too. So easy to do this with cynicism.
Cheers for that, really nice on a cold November evening.

Thank you for the entertainment, and congrats again .
