Have a look at Number Six's writing workshop entry that may help. Are you the only one to work on this? you could do with some people contributing ideas to make it more fun for you.

I was wondering whether it would be an idea to have a separate sub-header of 'Industries', under which you would put salt mining and chemicals, and briefly mention the rolling stock (Crewe), textiles and chemicals (Stockport, Maccledsfield, Congleton), which you've also developed more extensively under those town names?
