I once knew someone who had trained as a biologist and enjoyed watched animal documentaries. Yet they also believed that nudity was perverted, and why did I have to do it! The fact that I never had to but wanted to, never registered! I feel maybe it is perverted to be comfortable watching other species naked, but not to be comfortable with nudity in your own species!
I would welcome more acceptance of nudity, just because you can appreciate someones naked body, it doesn't mean you want to go to bed with them. The more acceptance, the more our culture will be maturing!

Your posting got missed in the general upheavels my life has gone through in the last few months, so apologies are in order and duly tendered.

I know what you mean about weird attitudes. I have a friend who works in genetic research, alongside people who also firmly believe that the world was created by God a few thousand years ago. ie having just about explained the process of evlution they are also denying that it ever happened. Personally I think you have to pick one view or the other.

Oh well, I'm going to try and finally get this entry finished this week - I'm online regularly again for the first time in months. Help with writing style is welcome but I think I'm going to have to draw a line in the sand and say 'this topic ends here', at least until it hits the front page and more people want to discuss the finished product.

Otherwise I'll still be absorbing input and 'tweaking' it in another six months. Too many other putative entries, and a whole h2g2 uni project to deal with, so one last rewrite and then putit on teacher's desk.

Thanks for taking an interest, and please accept my enthusiastic support next time you want to get naked.
