question about improbability drive

is this game about the star ship titainic that was the first to use the improbability drive: was disigned to be indestructible, never crash, ect. but the improbability drive caused it to since it was so improbable? Or is this game game compleatly separate from the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy books and its just a strange coincidence that two compleatly diffrent starships with the same name apear in two creations of douglas adams and in both stories/games bad stuff happens to the ship?

the game is based on the bit in the book, life the universe and everything, yeah it was one of the early versions of the improbabilty drives.

but I can't remember it being mentioned in the game, only that it was so badly built

I don't remember about it having an improbability Drive, but I do know it underwent SMEF (Spontaneous Massive Existence Failure).
