Entry: Feluda -- Satyajit Ray - A57788464
Author: Kaushik Sarkar - U10873021
This is a synopsis on movies and telefilms based on Satyajit Ray's Feluda stories. A sequel would follow on next gen movies based on Feluda stories.

What an interesting read. It is easy for a reader such as myself, not familiar with the stories/films, to get a good overall idea. The first paragraph compares Feluda to S Holmes, Tintin and Indiana Jones, perhaps it could be said 'a modern-day cross between...'.
[although this can be guessed by the plot on fake medecines..]
I'm looking forward to read the next entries
Well done !

Good Morning and welcome to Peer Review. (and h2g2) It is so refreshing to have another author from India.
I enjoyed reading your article, and it made me wish that the films you describe were available for me to watch.
I noticed that you have already implemented the advice given to you by Alex in the writing workshop and I wish you a happy time here with us in Peer Review.

For other readers of this thread, there is another entry, currently in the Flea market, on this film maker: A1002330 - PR thread F118692?thread=6971730.
I feel it would be better to 'rescue' the other entry, merging the content of this entry into that one.
Well done and welcome to Peer Review Kaushik

In response to H5ringer:
I think that Kaushik Saukar has indeed rescued this subject from 6 and a half years of oblivion. Whether it needs to be recognised as a Flea Market 'rescue' ( which is a very good thing in itself) or whether this article should stand alone on its own merits needs to be decided.
I do not think this article covers exactly the same ground as A1002330 but it would be good to incorporate more material from this source, or from Kaushik's own researches.
Could the previous author (Samarpita) have a credit as a contributor? Or, after such a long while is this still necessary? I am merely posing questions here, and do not want to sound off-putting to this most welcome newcomer.

Thanks
I have checked the other article. That one and mine have one thing in common -- Satyajit Ray. Besides that, the other article focusses on Ray's life and Ray the film-maker; whereas my article focusses more on Ray the litterateur, and exclusively on movies made based on Feluda stories written by Ray. As articles, I believe both have 2 seperate entities.
However, if required I am ready to take up the task of reviving Samarpita's article.
Thanks

Good to see this in Peer Review now
"if required I am ready to take up the task of reviving Samarpita's article."
Please do! Make sure you get this one more or less finished first, though - it's good to get used to the system before submitting more articles.

I think it's a good idea to keep the two Entries separate, although - obviously - it would be necessary to add links between them (I understand this can be done even once one of the entries is in the guide).
I rather like the present entry as is, short and to the point, nicely setting the scene for readers not familiar with the work.

Having re-read both entries, I'm now inclined to agree that there should be two separate entries, but I *would* like to see the FM entry updated and brought into the Guide soon after this one. Alex is right, deal with one entry at a time; the cross-links can be added by a Curator afterwards.

Not sure that's the best thing to do - it would have been perfectly ok to put them through as two separate entries.
