Yep, I saw your support forum in the list when I was reading Vivienne's essay, so already left a message there. And in another thread too.
I just hope that the others involved in whatever-this-was-all-about are receiving the same treatment, that's all.

No, it doesn't seem they are.
Anyways, I don't think ANYBODY ought to be victimized!

Yes, we read through LeKZWorld - gave us nightmares two nights running - which is perhaps why I bailed so quickly from yours. Also through us out of any semblance of multiplicity - unlike other people, I seem to get *less* multiple under stress - Odd. Perhaps Vivienne's writing isn't as bad as it hinted that it would get - I hope so.
I want to share something, though, which is completely random. Newspaper today - Jill Dando's supposed killer has been put behind bars, pending appeal. And Jill's father said that though he was a murderer, and though he was a continuing danger to the public, he "wished him a long, happy, and fulfilling life".
What an angel. You see - for all the evil in the world, and for all the nastiness that goes on, there are still people like that. Willing to forgive. Not after revenge, not after blood, just trying to do the best for this world. Moves me to real life tears, that does - that somebody could be so wonderful, in spite of such a tragic loss. Respect.
Lucinda - who still holds out hope for the world.

I've added my support to LeKZ, and I've even come down off the fence and added my voice to your call for Moderate Moderation, Pillowcase. Actually, it wasn't the Moderators I was getting at...

Now I feel bad! Just as I come down from my armchair on the fence, Lucinda goes and writes something so very One-World that I get a pang of conscience and remorse. Well done Lucinda, and thanks for reminding me that there is a cause for optimism and kindness.
Kick me, whenever I forget!

Fenny - even you have opinions - and I would certainly not want them to be hidden just because you have a heart, when so many people either do not, or ignore it. You're a shining example to me, you really are...

You are so sweet, Lucinda! I thought you were the shining example! 'Nuff said - I'm sure your blusher doesn't clash with your but I know going red is embarrassing!
Pedant? Who, me? Thank you!
Let me just say, here and now (where else and when else would be so appropriate?) that I envy you all because you've all written so fluently for the Guide, while I've been at work and only online for two hours a day(call it four, just to be realistic ) and therefore too busy catching up on conversations to get some serious writing in! So I can take the epithet 'Pedant' as an absolute compliment - not that I thought it was anything else!

Lucinda, you know it warms my heart that you got nightmares from LeKZWorld, because I did not! I am so used to incredibly awful stuff by now, I was able to calm down after a few hours. But I am very upset at the present moment because of what is happening at the moment with LeKZ's suspension. Everything just seems to be getting worse and worse, for no really good reason! I will have to put massive work into this. LeKZ seems to be programmed to subvert her own credibility! LeKZ, if you read this - that is not meant as a criticism of yourselves - I am seriously wondering if there hasn't been 'implanted' into you something/somebody that makes you react inappropriately in sensitive situations! I want to ask you about some of your 'military types'...

Dorothy Outta Kansas Posted Jul 4, 2001
Pillowcase - I remember reading a posting by Auntie (I think) which was clear that LeKZ had had an ultimatum of 'one strike and you're out'. I know she understands the concept of the exploding collar, possibly mentioned in the same thread (which could have been the "Royal 'We'").
All this support for LeKZ is wonderful, and I would hope to get even half as many wellwishers if I should be moderated off. But she's been suspended for a week, in the hopes that when she comes back, there will be less provocation. I understood that this meant she could neither read nor contribute, although I don't know. If LeKZ is reading this page, I am concerned on her behalf. Perhaps the support will be helpful, but I fear that the echos of a certain thread will be a catalyst (I hope not!) and that the question you put to her may also be triggering.
In writing this I tried to Ass U Me as little as possible - I know I was beginning to sound didactic to myself, so I reworded a little - but please forgive me if I sounded pompous.

You must know that LeKZ is indeed reading all of this, and I am in correspondence with them and we are talking about those specific matters ... everything seems to be quite relaxed at the moment, so don't worry! But I will try to tone down things, for LeKZ's sake, and to not stir up things too much here. I always take into consideration their possible responses. They don't need me to 'baby' them, can take excellent care of themselves, no problem there!

Getting back on topic...
One thing which I noticed in Colonel Seller's post signed by 'mo'
was that 'mo' talked about himself in the third person. An indication of anything? Or just a compartment/alter/whatever who has delusions of being Ceasar?

I think the Kernel will have to answer that one!
As for me, my personalities have been coming on extra strong these past few days. It's been necassary. A number of new ones manifested, that I had no suspicion of until now. I don't know if they will be permanent but they have become so alive and so vivid so quickly that I think they'll be around for a long while!

Willem, and through him Vivienne - I've read through Vivienne's words in that thread - it is indeed better than I feared, though the ultra-bad bit is indeed ultra-bad...
Should Vivienne be allowed to roam on h2g2? I think so! Just as long as she agrees to the terms and conditions, of course...
'Fake' multiples?
Willem Posted Jul 6, 2001
Well, you guys don't know yet ... Vivienne committed suicide early yesterday morning. But she'll be back, she just needs time off. She's pretty comfortable with dying and coming back. They're thinking of putting a revolving door into the Gates of Hell especially on her behalf!
Should I let her tell the rest of her story? The prob is, things get worse from there, so if you found that tough to handle... I'm sorry, but that's the way it was, and me, as well as Viv, think people can learn something from it...

Lucinda:
Actually, it's somewhat difficult to seperate the people inside me. Writing for just one of them seems... strange. I have a hard time isolating the lone voice, because the others are always there, too, making adjustments to what I'm trying to say. I think it's easier when I'm speaking verbally, but even then, I have them shouting suggestions over each other... which often leaves me stammering out gibberish. When I have the time to overstrike and retype what I mean to say, then the discussion becomes even more difficult. I feel the urge to revise what I had just written, but I know I shouldn't... because I know that the call for revision has come from another source.
I can't look over the Mo statement, because I don't remember where I left it (it's not in this thread), but I think he was speaking for all of the people inside me, which is why he used first-person plural.

Well, as long as your post sufficient warnings - and do it off h2g2 if it's in danger of breaching the T&C - I'd say yes, Pillowcase/Vivienne - go for it. I'm sure people will learn stuff from it, if they are able to...

Dorothy Outta Kansas Posted Jul 6, 2001
Pillowcase, or someone else - I was terribly sorry to hear about Vivienne, but even more ashamed to realise I have no idea of where to find a record of her style. Could someone show me where to look? Inanna made reference to her essay at the start of this page, so I must be really dense!
