I'm just sitting frankly surprised that anyone can solve these things. It seems completely beyond me.

It IS a different way of thinking, which feels good - like your exercising brain cells that are rarely used.

Solving them's a lot easier than setting them.

Having said that, this one's fairly challenging...

My best word so far (and it's not very good) is the archaic word DISSHEATHE (meaning to become unsheathed)

mmm, any 10-letter adjective would fit:

Sincere quest for reasonable medical aid

Sincere quest for inimitable medical aid
etc

I might need one. If it is "Since xxx request...", I haven't really got anything to hook the word onto, so I'm finding it quite difficult to find one.

Unless the spilt is actually "Sin xxxx ce request..."
