Judicious use of your
knowledge of the alphabet
looks like a good way to
move back into the world of employment
Nothing like a clever,

Trying to keep a roof over one's head can be opressive.
Usually, motivation is not enough.
Very often, it's a case of being in the right place at the right time.
When a lot of time goes by and savings have been drained, it takes time in a new job to catch up.
X-tra fun may ease the stress.
You deserve a drink with friends, at least virtually with us!

Zinfandel anyone?
A nice bottle of red wine will do us nicely.
Bottles - that should probably have read.
Crates - now that sounds more like it!

Lux Rothchop (wouldn't it be great if people were nice to each other for a change?) Posted Nov 1, 2000
Definitely.
Each person gets several bottles.
Far better then one bottle between us.

X-cuse me, but the first word of the sentence should have started with an X
you are new to the game
Zealous to learn, no doubt
A few rules to help you on your way:
But, wait a minute
Can't tell you any rules
Don't seem to be any
Except that each line must start with the next letter of the alphabet
Got that?
Have fun playing with us
I appreciate your reviving this thread

Know what I think?
Lack of letter X ideas brought this thread to a grinding halt.
Maybe we owe thanks to Eccentra for the mistake.
Now lets get this game off the ground again for 2001.
Oh, and a happy New Year to all participants.

Perhaps she could call herself Xentra?
Quite an improvement in the number of available x-words, then.

ox Posted Jan 7, 2001
Really, now.
Somehow or other we got through X.
True, the words weren't always real words.
Unless anyone else objects, I say we do the same again!

Metal Chicken Posted Jan 7, 2001
Very well.
Why should we make things hard for ourselves anyway.
Xylophones would have had to turn up improbably often!
