What is everybodys highest score (profit) on Dope Wars? Mine is £17,640,132.

Is that all. I've reached over £40,000,000 will check my high score when at work Monday to let you know. Mind you I got Very Lucky with some Coke and Heroin sales. Like 6 shortages in quick sucession with about 180 pockets.

The score is my brother's. He will be most dissapointed learn that bettered by as much as all that. You only have 50 turns, isn't that right? So you must have been very lucky to have ammassed a score like that, is there a knack to it or just simple good fortune? The trick to , as best he explains it to me, is to say buy a large quantity of (say) cocaine in one region at a low price (caused by gluts, busts and so on) travel to another region (stock up on other drugs) travel back to where you bought the cocaine and sell it. The selling price will now be much higher. This isn't garunteed to work but provided you can avoid (or outrun) the cops it seems todo the job.

What my brother was interested to know was, whether or not there is someplace were Dope War players can list their high-scores, any ideas?

My brother has just come in and he says it is 31 turns not 50 and that you can submit the highscores to the website.

My brother's friend says that if you can get over £100,000,000 somebody offers you the chance to buy a trenchcoat with a bag with over 400 pockets in it. With this he managed to get £200,000,000.
Put as much money in the bank as possible, when you have got lots of cash, keep out about £3,000,000, and deposit the rest. If you ask me, the best start is when weed prices bottom out.

Best though is $39,950,150 I checked as promised. Yes bank all the excess once you can afford to fill up with hard drugs is the secret.

Its much more fun when you edit the cities to include your own locality!
