A Conversation for How to Browse the Guide

I know it's early days yet, but one of the first entries I looked up in the browser is wrongly filed (Europe/United Kingdom/Wales/West Glamorgan contains an entry for Anglesea- geographically this is not possible!) Is there going to be a proper method of reporting these discrepancies eg a single location where error reports can be sent, or should we just harass the various editors? (which is probably not the best way!)

Notwithstanding the occasional error, the browser is a good idea.

Thanks Bob, the Anglesey entry in question has been moved to it's proper home. With regard to 'a proper method of reporting these discrepancies eg a single location where error reports can be sent', this is a good idea which we're looking in to. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, all comments/opinions re: categorisation are warmly received. Many thanks.

Another miscategorisation! An entry on hard drives is listed under Life/Work/Jobs.

Good Point! Hard drives has been categorised under Jobs because they affect the way we work - it's what Sam and I have termed a secondary link - meaning it bears some relevance to the topic. This term is also our get out clause!! The reason for this is that the more we categorise individual entries, the higher the chances are that they'll be read.

Cunning idea smiley - smiley
The problem I see with that is that the system might end up like every search engine catergory system on the internet... in that you look for something relevant but have to wade through ten thousand irrelevant links first.
The beauty of H2G2 to me is that I can find the information I want without all that garbage. Well, I do have to wade through some garbage, but it's interesting garbage so I don't mind. I suppose.
