Don't forget Michael Caine's irrespressibly drunken Holmes in the amusing "Clue",also starring Ben Kingsley as Dr Watson - "the Crime Doctor".

I did like that film!
Oh and the name of the film is "Without A Clue" - "Clue" is the film based on the boardgame (known as Cluedo in the UK).

ahah, I see Douglas Wiler made it in there, however since in that film (The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother), Gene Wilser also plays a Holmes, in this case Sigerson Holmes
