SEx: Alcohol tolerance

Women have a different physiology to men and this lies at the root of their relative alcohol intolerance relative to men. Plus they are mostly smaller and this require a lower volume of ethanol to get schnockkered.
The physiological difference is that the average woman has a higher percentage of body fat to your average bloke (yes it's true) and as alcohol is soluble in water not fat this means women get a higher blood alcohol level - which makes them get drunk more easily since blood is more water-like than the surrounding tissue.
It's the genes that make women different to men of course so...
