*the gardener bot trudges up the stairs dragging a burlap sack. He scoops up all the calling cards, bags them, and heads back down to the compost heap behind the greenhouses*

yes, 'back' of sorts. in and out and round about. having a bit of kerfuffleness. trying to connect my dots (seems I have 3), and leave you a message, as it happens.
I tried a couple of times to tender some unsolicited 'suggestions' to remedy your rusty screw head dash up and lost them into the 'ether'. extremely off putting, as some say. *pout pout* so, it is with some measure of serendipity that I notice your reply. thank you. have you finished salvaging the wood?

is there still a place to look to see who is onsite?
*so many questions, and add having it's way with me this evening*

it seems a little like an out of body experience. oh, I guess it is. chuckle

My husband wanted to look the building over before I took the outer boards off (just to tell me to not do more than I was already planning to do--though he did make a good point about that one corner where the roof support is rotted through) so I've only taken out the interior "shelves" (actually mostly decking from when it was a shelter for a hot tub). Other than not tilting the drill when removing the screws (screw bit on the drill, of course) I don't know what there really is to do to prevent snapping 30+ year old steel drywall screws in a damp climate. Should be really fun taking out the ones for the wall, actually, since some of them have so many layers of paint that the screwheads are almost filled with paint...
Notepad is still asking several times a day if we can go buy now...

Who's Online works in the skin called Pliny, but not from the older skins, I think. And it's good to have you here, jr.

That reminds me, I really need to fix that Who's Online.
Currently it let's you know who's online in Pliny, the new, main skin. The feature in the older skins doesn't work at all. It lies. It thinks that if a user's space is looked at, that user must obviously be online. Which is rubbish.

Bit of a quiz anyone?
http://www.virtualhosting.com/blog/2013/50-things-geek-should-know/
I only scored 16. I might be able to stretch that to 21 counting things I vaguely know or could guess, but I feel my credentials are not as strong as I thought.

never had the patience to be a good geek, add, crs, now craft
and waaaaay too many years playing space invaders on brain cells
with a little help and 'comfort' from my friends: jim, jack, ezra, cutty,
grand dad, and of course johnny and his brother. not to mention the
hundreds, at least, of other bit cast members that passed thru.
*painted screw heads is a good thing, the paint seals them and can
be popped out (usually) with tip of utility knife. when trying to remove
old drywall screws, slow and steady with lots of pressure works best.
'they' also make/sell a bit tip called anti-cam out that has grippys to
keep the tip from pushing back out while one is attempting to remove/
set said screws.*

I don't think the people who wrote that quiz know what a Geek is.
