I was just reminded of this quote (possibly by W.C. Fields):

"In theory men and women should be able to understand each other.

Also in theory you should be able to catch eels with a lasso"

I haven't found a repair shop yet. Waiting for a friend to look into it.

Meanwhile I'll be offline for a week from Saturday as I'm going on an adventure with my ex and our kids and grandkids.

Take care of yourself and Rex while I'm away!

I'm back but I'm knackered. A week with lively grandkids aged 6 and 9 takes its toll. In particular when it's raining for a whole week except for the last day smiley - injured

I'm taking a long nap now and will just rest in front of the telly the rest of the day

The nice thing about grandchildren is that you can borrow them and then return them to their parents when you need to recover from them. smiley - winkeye

I did. But I had to wait for that recovery a whole week. We (7 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler) stayed in the same summer cottage for a week. And when it didn't rain it rained even more smiley - rolleyes

Weather is okay here now. But for how long?

Good to hear Rex is taken care of. Not good to hear you have weakened. Take care of yourself! smiley - goodluck

the lady that come is coming tonight after 5pm she loves taking rex out in the other nights a local lady who lost her dog way back she takes him other nights for me he loves them both he is nuts lol

h2 as been doing my nut in this is the first time i could get on in the morning cloud was up the creek till after 3 pm if ever working

ive been adding to the bradford west a few useful links ie the top market was opened 1930,s but comes down in the next 6 months when the new market is finished being built.

kirgate is also half empty so thats also on the way out to

the lift aint being fixed the escutalors are about naff, its using the primark lifts that on the other end lol, old stall markets half empty now the ones there are not happy rent going up, some shops selling cheaper things also double rents so bradfords on the slippery slope

its roads up, buildings altered to accomadations, only rich can afford
from about £400 a week jimbob

Don't think I'll ever be able to travel outside EU again. Germany, Norway and Sweden perhaps, but that's it.

h2g2 has been a bit unstable these last few days. Anyone else noticed this?

You can call me TC

Yes. Quite a few error messages "Gateway timeout", but on refresh they go away. I must print out or save my journals somewhere as I often refer to them to see what I did when.

Entries I'm not so bothered about. I think I've got them saved somewhere anyway.
