A Conversation for How do I...?
Bullet Points Inside Bullet Points

I am trying to make bullet points inside bullets points but I don't know how to do them. So far I have only seen them in help pages and I don't know how to test help pages. I don't want to spend hours looking for an entry that has done them so please can someone help. It is important because the list inside the list has to look different.

On any help page, you should be able to find the A number - in Brunel it's in the top left-hand corner. You can then use test123456 to see the GuideML for the page.
Hope that helps a bit...

Traveller in Times typing by head
"
Level 1
Level 2
This should do it basically. Mind, not all browsers give usefull results !
Think it is more or less covered in the Help pages . . ."

Can you give the link to a help page where you've seen that, so I get an idea what you're talking about?
Or you could look at the code of said help page by substititing the A in the URL with test.

Thankyou Danny B and Traveller in Time that helped a lot.
Yes sure B here is the link <./>DontPanic-Cool</.>. That is the link I can think of on the top of my head.

Thank you, that helped a lot. I see that you don't need to do the level stuff, the eds just put within the tags.

I used nested bullets in this entry on the Columbia Shuttle Disaster: A40098008

Traveller in Times watching bullets, squares and circles
"Search for and you will find hundreds of pages using nested lists.
I merely used the word level to indicate where the text (actual content) can be. researchers just experimenting with the bullets should not bother asking. (finding out is the fun of experimenting) "

It would have been clearer (to me) had you used: 'write your text here' instead of level1 and level2, but then maybe J got what you meant.

Debugging the nested bullets on that Columbia entry was the most tricky Guide-ML job I've ever done.
Keep them on separate lines and indent them as did earlier. It makes it a lot clearer.

And put tags around them rather than in between to make them easier to read!
