add friends if on my personal space it doesnt have add friends?? please help me! xXx

You need to go to the page of the person you want to add to your Friends List and click the button on their page.

To add friends, all you have to do is visit the person's space (like U183117 if you want me to be your friend), and there you'll find a 'Add to Friends' button which you can click to add the other person to your friends list.

I went on2 ur space but i cant see where add friends is?? and where do u get that number from to go to some1's page? is it the researcher numba?? xXx

Yes, that number is my researcher number; that page is also linked to from the person's name at the top of all of their posts. The 'Add To Friends' button can be found in (or above) the 'Researcher Data' box on the right hand side of their user page.

You can get to a researcher's personal space by clicking on their name. Just above this message you should see my name: Gnomon. Click on it to go to my personal space.

On my space, you should see a section at the right called Researcher Data. Just above this is Add to Friends. Click on Add to Friends to add me to your friends list. Wait a minute or so, then you should be brought to the My Friends page.

Well done..you've done..Gnomon is on your friends list....I've added my ACE Welcome to you space..you may find some useful tips there too....

I'm three times your age! Now you won't want to talk to me. But you will find that there's plenty to talk about here on h2g2 and we don't worry what age people are. I've had interesting conversations with 13-year-olds and with 75-year-olds. It's what you're interested in that counts.

Spelugz is right. It's ok for you to tell us you're from Birmingham, but don't tell us your address, phone number, real-life name or e-mail address, just to be safe.

I can't see any reason why you should be able to add me and not Spelugx. Try again and see does it work this time. Perhaps you didn't wait long enough.

My hobbies are making music, writing stuff for h2g2 and fixing things. I also like playing some computer games - puzzle adventure games such as Myst, Riven, Zork Nemesis etc.

I'm not sure why you can't add me as a friend either . My freetime is filled with h2g2 (I'm a <./>scout</.> and <./>subeditor</.&gt, programming, mathematics. My current favourite computer game is nethack, but XKoules is a good diversion since I can complete it easily in an afternoon.
