then they went to 2 a penny and now 1.
i too used to love the pink shrimps
but i cant eat much sweet stuff today as it sets my teeth on edge and i suffer toothache for hours
i had 4 jelly babies the other day and boy, did i suffer..

They are ok, nothing to write home about, the fruity ones are wonderful.
>and what does anyone think of the new liquorice less allsorts?
Gritty and horrible. Not a big fan of fruit flavoured coconut.

My mum grumbles about the size of Wagon wheels too
Sweeties & pop of the past you want back
serenity Posted Sep 13, 2005
maybe theyve altered the size of the wagons and the wheels accordingly
im sure that mars bars were twice the size when i was a child.
is it the age thing or is it a way of cutting costs?

this business of wagon wheels shrinking... is it urban legend, or what? 'cos it worries me.
Anyhoo, I was in dear old Birmingham the other day and I found Texan bars in the local petrol station. I think that more than makes up for the lack of petrol. Yes, Texans (the chocolate, not the natives) are back on sale as part of some promotional thing. hurrah. but I think they're a bit smaller than they used to be.

...and another thing
Star bars were Star Bars until they went away for a bit and then they came back as peanut Boosts...and now they're back as Star Bars...or am I wrong...or drunk...or just old
or both
or all three

I was in Germany about 13 years ago and they had Mint Rolos, they were plain chocolate with mint fondant instead of toffee, the were really really nice, I've never seen them again I've serched this country and Germany, every time someone goes I ask them to look out for some

Toffo's were lush... but what about fruit toffo's
think there must be a secret island of maniac sweet makers.
I know dave, got a brilliant idea, try this, looks like rabit droppings, but when you wrap it up in chocolate flavour sugar fondant. hey presto kids will love them.
and as for Texan bars. I only remeber them in Christmas boxes, the bar that could make it all the way to new year. Bet they arn't as chewy these days either.
