You have a point there, it's like hitchikers and futurama. If you don't know your sci-fi it's not funny.

Reefgirl RL prob, had to log off. I think you've recommended LCL to me before, I'll have to find out if Blockbusters have a rental copy (I assume it's on DVD) and use the 'pause' at appropriate places
I used to like Blakes 7, but after buying all the videos of it, I found it a bit dated. about 3 years ago I won a h2g2 quiz, one of the Reseachers was doing, but that was mainly because I was the only one who answered the questions.

I've just been reminded of another TV programme that I like, Judge John Deed, it's on at 9pm tonight, though is probably a repeat that I've already seen a couple of times.

We're just watching all the Blakes 7 we can get hold of, and they're briiliant - not the special effects, but the dialogues, the characters, it's great

Maybe it's just me, and I kind of grew out of Blakes 7, loved it when it was orignally shown, feel the same way about The Professionals used to love that, got a couple of videos and thought what did I see in that.
Maybe in 20 years time I'll feel the same way about Waking The Dead, Silent Witness and Judge John Deed, but I hope I'll never grow out of of Sharpe.
