The "I hate Monday" club
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Oct 26, 2009
i'm trying to ignore it being Monday on the basis that I've got band practice tonight so if I just ignore the fact I'm at w*rk in the meantime, i can concentrate on having fun tonight
monday bloody monday. again. every week.
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 2, 2009
Only if you give in.
I will not give in.
monday bloody monday. again. every week.

Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 2, 2009
All I can suggest is that you try to ignore them...
monday bloody monday. again. every week.
Folderol2 Posted Nov 2, 2009
I've solved the Monday-itis feeling. I've recently taken up golf and we meet every Monday morning, so now I have something to look forward to on a Monday and it's not such a 'thing' any more
monday bloody monday. again. every week.
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 2, 2009
That's it, you're out of the club!
HAH!
monday bloody monday. again. every week.
Folderol2 Posted Nov 2, 2009
OK, I'll go. But don't think this is an end to it! I'm going to open up a 'I hate every other day of the week except Monday Club'.
So there
monday bloody monday. again. every week.
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 2, 2009
Fine by me... Go. Golfing weirdo...

Now Now
lets all calm down
Don't fight.
Sodit bloody Sodit. again. every week.
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 6, 2009
There's no fighting, if you like Mondays you're not in the club. I am the secretary and in lieu of the chairman being apparent, I must uphold the rules.

I'm okay now, it's not monday right now.
I'm too busy to hate mondays though. I'm writing a novel in a month. 50000 words in 30 days. I can say that i've got no life left. Even if i have nearly got 10% down.

Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 6, 2009
I would procrastinate for at least 26 of those days...
Sodit bloody Sodit. again. every week.

Maybe, but then i don't have an excuse not to work.
Fun fact, it's actually quite hard to coordinate between three different wabsites in different conversations.
Sodit bloody Sodit. again. every week.
Folderol2 Posted Nov 6, 2009
I'm back, partly to annoy Robyn, but also 'cos I can't be bothered to set up a new thread.
I still don't mind Monday's generally, but this coming one I'm on a course in Oxford all day, so I'm not too happy about that. Sitting in a stuffy seminar room all day and suffering mass catering and stewed coffee is not my idea of fun - let alone having to drive 55 miles each way in the rush hour (have YOU ever tried to drive round the Oxford Ring Road in the rush hour? It's qiucker to crawl)

Annoy away, I had my dose of being annoyed at the weekend, you're a breeze by comparison. Sorry!
Today was... Busy. I wanted to stay in bed, had to run for buses, stop to get change, missed my connecting bus so I was late for work, and when I got here found a nasty knot that needed untangling and an incompetent foreman struggling to cope...
So unfortunately I have a feeling of success and achievment most unsuited to a monday
Still cant wait for it to be finished though...
