Just been reding an article about Sir Winston Churchill. Apparently, whilst attending a dinner party in Virginia, the butler came around with the 
en and asked him which piece of the 
he'd like. He replied, 'I'd like breast'.
At this, the 
next to him said, 'Mr Churchill, in this country we say white meat or dark meat.'
Next day Churchill handed the a corsage of flowers with the words, 'Pin this to your white meat'.

An article in last week's Salisbury Journal reports on a book by English Heritage that is 'littered with mistakes'.
Thus in one entry, a key mythical figure at Stonehenge A9564942, Aurelius Ambrosius (believed to be the historical basis for King Arthur) was mistakenly called Aureoles Ambrosius.
In commenting on this, the magazine, British Archaeology commented,'Besides, we cannot miss a spelling error that turned a historical character into breasts and creamed rice'.

I have now brought in the hyacinth b**bs I set up in special glass vessels towards the end of 2008, and they are now in flower (pink and blue) and are emanating a wonderful fragrance ....
but not as nice as the fragrance our lodger puts between her b**bs. She's just left today to go to Canada though
