OK is a term coined by a radion operator in an age I was unalive in. It is suppposed to refer to things 'all correct' or 'all clear'. I suppose folks who write and communicate in Dots and Dashes cannot truly be expected to be entirely literate...

Despite the typos, I cannot see your lack of a grasp. The term "OK", was coined by a radio-telegraph operator to be shorthand for "All Correct" or "All Clear", both of which are obviously inaccurate as designations of the initials of the signals concerned. Would'nt you think?
