Yes today legeslation was passed through the scottish parlament for a smoking ban which will take effect in spring of 2006. At last the poor excuse for a scottish parlament has done something worthwhile,
at last they have taken a desision without passing it back to westminster for the thumbs up and pat on the head. at last devolution is starting to mean something to those fools who have been given run of the contry.

in other news Five blackwatch soldiers have died since there redeployment in Irac. another is fighting for his life when there base was bombarded and still tony blair argues about merging the scottish regements of the army. for those of you who don't know the Blackwatch is a truely brilient regement, have almost always been the first into the fray. and have been called into American arias of Irac because there troops dont seem able to do some peacekeeping. This war that the uk went into because someone said something about weapons that never showed up is killing our countrymen. they never signed up to be cannon fodder for the Americans. Mr Blair better keep his promice and have our boys and girls, home for christmas.

Oh CATCH (centralised applications to clearence house) - where i applyed for nursing got intouch today they have finaly (after over a month of waiting) sent my application to my fourth choice of univercity, What took them so long I here you ask. well it was a mixup at Edenbugh univercity, remember i told you all about the letter I sent Napier uni. well they helpfully withdrew my application from the entier system. how nice. so I had to talk to CATCH then send them a letter so they had it in writing. that I still wanted to go to Uni...
*sigh*
So foolish really.

waiting to here from stirling (insert reall spelling here) Uni
who i hope will ask to interview me and do so soon
also I am going away at the begining of december, so the interview better not be then... knowing my luck though it will be

Well I finaly have my NI number, all I need is a passport, and then its done,

Not too pleased with the smoking ban myself (though won't apply in England yet it will probably filter down here)...

As for the blackwatch... I never have agreed with the war in Iraq and feel that these deaths are more murders in a politicians war...

Of course in my view the best memorial would not to have anyone else fighting wars and dieing but thats not going to happen
