well one more year has passed on h2g2
and not much has happened really...
role playing is pretty much over as far as i know
I stopped writing and drawing for the post because well I haven't done much really after concentrating on uni work i don't seem to get much done at home and holidays seem devoid of inspiration that or some sort of artistic burnout
Oh on lighter news I went for my first scan the other day
and baby is happy and healthy and with a 13.5cm head is approximately 22 weeks young or 18 weeks old depending on how you want to see it

I would assume that the child would be a permanent reminder
forgive me for saying but i feel no need to have someone point a camera there :p
I miss you too animal
and everyone else on here,
it's hard work being a mum to be and you don't realise till it happens
plus we're hopping to move house at some point soon
hopefully before the bairn turns up
you know how little people tend to make things difficult,
but it's been fun guessing if it will be a boy or a girl
bets are still open till the twentieth when hopefully
the issue will be resolved and I'll know whether to spring for the pink or blue blankets
everyone's getting exited already, I just worry (irrationally) about baby being healthy and well for the next five months till they make there appearance
I am starting to get a bit of a baby bump now, only enough to make me feel tubby.... not bad i suppose for a four month pregnant woman
and some odd mood swings
you know that advert thing on four (i think) where the kitten gets grabbed by the purple goo thing.... that made me cry...
and i really like scampi but I'm not meant to eat a lot of shell fish or prawn type things and its in that general family as far as i know so it probably shouldn't be on the menu
*sigh*

not sure if that's good or not
oh been drinking cranberry juice lately... that stuff could put hair on your tounge.... and you'd still be left with a bitter after-taste

Mmmmm..cranberry juice, nice.
What's wrong with photos? You have wedding photos and I don't know if you have christenings in the Church of Christ and Latter Day Saints but if so I expect you'll have photos taken of that. I just think photos of the birth would be nice...or I could film it for you

Right I reckon you could help me with this.
My mates also having a baby, but being young and nieve his response to 'what should I get you' was 'I dunno, its a baby innit'...
Wouldnt mind but its due in september. He's a good lad though. Any suggestions

Nytol and a babysitter for a weekend would go down a treat.
Oh the joy ahead of you Anth, just don't pick godparents who turn up, excite the kid, fill them full of sugar and then leave before bedtime.
Ahh. I love my god-daughter.

I would but the dad would only end up staying up, giving the kid the nytol, and demand we paint into the wee small hours.

Then I'd tell social services. Nytol is not for babies.
That's what gin is for.

getting away from the subject of drugging children
thanks guys
yes scampi is Norwegian lobster but is it safe to eat while pregnant?
I don't really like the idea of someone pointing a lense down there... or in fact looking in that general area....
we baptise children when there eight... that's kinda like a christening...

Christening's such a funny word. Like the name of a sequel...
Jesus is back in:
THE BIBLE II: THE CHRISTENING!
Not quite as good as the Bloodening though.

You should be ok with scampi, and even prawns, in moderation. Same goes for crab and lobster. However avoid bivalves.
You can always ask your midwife/madwife [del as app]. My best friend's of the midwiffing persuasion, I could go look up her email addy for you if you want.
