h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

alright so i realise its been a while since i wrote a journal on hootoo
and I've not been on site everyday like i used to be
but a lot has been happening lately

uni is on summer brake.... summer... i remember that once meant a change in seasons.... well to be truthful the weather hasn't been that bad the last few days but honestly well.... y'know

I was recently at amecon, for those of you that do not know what this is it was a Japanese animé and manga convention where people dress up as charectors from there favorate animé/ manga and it was interesting people were drunk at four pm and all we brought to eat were super-noodles


generally a good time was had but i think I'll stay away from the convention circet from now on as parties till four am are not really my thing and never have been

plus men dressing up as female charectors is a little odd to see walking around the streets in the morning....

on other news mr Khamsin and I it seems are to be blessed with a bundle of joy as I am now around four months pregnant and very pleased about the fact, although I do plan on continuing university I have thought all this through so please no nagging people telling me I've ruined my life, I've delt with one "friend" tell me that already, I'm really exited about this, and I have a scan on the 3rd of September so I will keep you all updated but really we both couldn't be happyer about the news and since we're doing an art course based on passing each semester i beleave that it can be done, and i fully intend to give it my best shot.

I'm amazed at how much seems to have changed already, I will admit i am starting to get a little rounder, and I can't walk past my three month old nephew without thinking "awww look at the baby"
but there are thousands of challenges and changes to come, don't get me wrong i expect it to be far from easy, but that doesn't stop me from looking forward to it

Well I havent jumped like that since.. I dunno, it was definately a eye rubbing 'WHAT THE FUDGE' moment it has to be said. Congrats on the baby and dont worry about Uni - I mean if I can aim to finish in April I'm sure you can do it a bit sooner (if you have a disertation to write, then I'd suggest starting it now)

I like how you post something major like pregency second, that did make me laugh - you do realise how many people are going to miss this bit of news.

I read in the paper the other day that a 92-year 'old?' woman has recently got herself a university degree and is now studying to be a doctor. So there's always plenty of time for study, and remember as Einstein once said, to non-Uni folks like myself, 'you can always look it up in books'. I have found it's true! No pressure then; and

talking of fudge, it was Joseph's sisters wedding on Tuesday (fudge was the wedding favours) and it was a very nice day for everyone,
