h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

well it all started on the 10th I suppose...
when Khamsin came up...
well on the 12th was the prom, It was... well...

Lets see... we had to wait for photos to be taken,
then to get into the dineing hall we had to wait in a lounge for a half hour, as neather Khamsin nor I drink alcohol we had the pleasure of watching all my former friends drink (you tend to loose respect for people who drink themselves stupid)
the meal was... not to be rememberd... due to complete lack of quality/taste/quantity
lets put it this way when i pay so much for a meal i dont want tiney portions dusted with iceing suger
but maybe i am mad?
Then... after not being given water we had to get it from the bar...
needless to say when i asked for water i was treeted like an invalid and asked if i was ill...

we sat in the hotel gardens where Khamsin was attacked by midges
while i wore his jacket to keep warm
(well the dress left my arms exposed, i didn't want bitten)

for some reason unknown to both of us we got asked... several times if we were bethrothed... which despite answering no to Khamsin was congratulated on his neew engadgement.... I think everyone was too drunk to notice that we had said no...
needless to say by the end of the night people not only thought we were engadged to each other but actualy married

now where was i...?
Oh yes...
after this we both went to Glasgow to an interview for a univercity corse... which i was turned down on... that wasent what took up most of the day however, the trouble getting to the univercity was.... unimagenable
first we missed the train... because it was Exactly on time!! I mean they should run a few minetes late... any other time and it would have been fine but at 8 am it was terrable to miss the only train for over an hour!
so we got the bus... the wrong bus
It did go to glasgow... just not the right side of glasgow
after this we walked up and down streets for hours till we were totaly lost and decided to get the bus to the right side of glasgow after vowing never to leave h2g2 again
what was the but we got? The number 42 into glasgow center... a coinsedence I think not

well... all in all real life was fun, but next time i decide to try it warn me... lock me up and refuse to let me leave the site

You think you had it bad, I missed a bus the other day because it was running early, and so was in the wrong lane and wouldn't stop, and there wasn't another for an hour so I missed my appointment...

I have vague recollections of my leaver's do dinner tasting better when it reversed on itself at about 4am, accompanied by 12 cans of lager and half a tube of toothpaste (don't ask).
