I am not sure of the spelling but I have heard of charkas and I wonder if you could please tell me what they are and what they are used for? Thank you.

I am sorry for the misspelling, it is information on Chakras I am looking for. I have had a book on relaxation and also some brief notes on Chakras but still none the wiser. I have also looked under the section but still have problems understanding. Are chakras points on the body as in acupuncture/acupressure and does it involve the use of crystals. Thank-you.

chakras are the bodies natural energy points, the root or base chakra is associated with the colour red.

the sacral/spleen chakra is the colour orange

the solar plexus is the colour yellow

the heart is the colour green

the throat is the colour blue

the third eye is the colour indigo

& finally the crown is the colour violet

& yes you can use crystals to help cleanse & re-energise them, but all of this on its own is no use to you, to get a better understanding of where exactly on the body the chakras are you need to get a chart of them. this you can get from most new age & or crystal outlet
