I read it to a boyfriend once and he always viewed me with suspiscion after that! smiley - smiley

Don't think I'll submit it though because my ego couldn't take such a heartfelt masterpiece being rejected! smiley - sadface

Doug Dastardly

When did you write it? And did your boyfriend know what to say when you read it to him! smiley - winkeye

Oooh!

Post 6

Ginger The Feisty

I wrote it about 10 years ago and that boyfriend was v. egotistical so I used to enjoy tormenting him with things like that! smiley - bigeyes

Oooh!

Post 7

Doug Dastardly

So that's quite an old one then! I bet you put him in his place though! Did he ever win? smiley - winkeye

Oooh!

Post 8

Ginger The Feisty

Nah! I dumped him which he never really forgave me for! It made a change to win against a boyfriend though. i usually do a good impression of a doormat!

So what changed you then? Or is that another topic for email? I think this email might end up as a whole series of emails! smiley - winkeye

Oooh!

Post 12

Ginger The Feisty

Definitely e-mail and we'd have to have known each other for at least a fotnight!
Not really! I think going out with a lowlife like him changed me. I realised I was worth more. Sometimes you meet people like that and it just changes the whole way you view yourself and you have to turn that to positive effect!

Ooooh! Very deep for 10 to 1 in the morning. Must be the vodka talking!

Oooh!

Post 13

Doug Dastardly

Hehe yeah, must have been the vodka! I didn't expect that, but you're right. Things like that do change you... they always say you learn from your mistakes don't they...

So what happens after a fortnight then? And why haven't I got a drink!

Post 15

Doug Dastardly

Have you drunk a lot then?

Oooh!

Post 16

Ginger The Feisty

Only 4 large vodkas and I don't feel drunk - That's worrying! i don't normally frink at home but it's Friday night and I'm at home!

Oooh!

Post 17

Doug Dastardly

So what would you normally be doing on a friday then? I'd be tucked up in bed by now normally! smiley - winkeye

we do all sorts of things but it depends who organises it. Things are a bit QT at the mo because people have been ill or on holiday so there haven't been any big events. We don't do anything on a regular basis.
